What is the Baldwinsville Boys Lacrosse Booster Club?
The Baldwinsville Boys Lacrosse Booster Club (BBLBC) is a not for profit organization whose role is to support, assist and enhance the lacrosse athletic program of the Baldwinsville School District. This includes financial, community and volunteer support which will serve to enhance the scholastic lacrosse experience for all.
The BBLBC provides financial support for the lacrosse program to supplement the school’s athletic budget. The BBLBC purchases equipment for all levels of play, provide appreciation gifts for all players, provides scholarships to graduating seniors, puts on an End-of-Year Picnic for all players and families, and assists in coordinating off-season tournaments, clinics and summer camps.
Members of the BBLBC are all volunteers and receive no benefits or privileges for their service to the club. The strength of the BBLBC comes from the many talents of its volunteers. There is a constant need for volunteers to support our common goals - insuring our student-athletes graduate with a life time of memories and that they get the recognition they so justly deserve. We are always looking for help working on various committees, working in the concession stand, or simply attending meetings to voice your ideas. Don't rely on the "other parents" to take care of your player - VOLUNTEER!
Here are a few areas in which we need Volunteers:
- Working Concession Stand for home Varsity Games
- Help with End-of-Year Picnic
- Selling Advertising in the Lacrosse Program
- Planning Senior Night activities
Please contact any member of the board if you are interested in volunteering for any of these events. BBLBC has a monthly meeting, generally on the second Tuesday of each month - check the Events Schedule for an up-to-date BBLBC meeting schedule.
